These terms cover your use of this website. The work itself — a session, a delivery, an event — is governed by what we agree with you in writing when you book.

Prices change

Every price on this website may change at any time, without notice. We cook with fresh ingredients bought at market prices, and those move. The figures here are a guide to what things usually cost, not an offer and not a quotation.

A price is only fixed once we have given you a written quote for your specific booking and you have accepted it. Until then, treat anything on this site as indicative.

Menus and availability

The menu shows what we are asked for most often. It is not a limit on what we cook, and it is not a guarantee that a particular dish is available on a particular date. Some ingredients are seasonal and some are simply not to be had that week.

Enquiries and bookings

Sending the enquiry form does not book anything and does not create a contract. It starts a conversation. A booking exists when we have confirmed the date, the menu and the price with you directly.

Allergies and dietary needs

Tell us about allergies and dietary requirements before you book, and we will tell you honestly whether we can meet them. Our kitchen handles gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, fish, shellfish and other common allergens, and we cannot promise that any dish is free of traces of them.

Nothing in these terms reduces our legal duties to prepare food safely and to describe it accurately. We would not want it to.

The website itself

We publish this site in good faith and keep it current, but we do not promise that it is free of errors, that it will always be available, or that every description and photograph is an exact match for what arrives on the day. Photographs are illustrative.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Red Poppy Kitchen is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website, from reliance on anything published here, or from the website being unavailable. This includes indirect and consequential loss.

This limitation applies to the website. It does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, and our responsibilities as a food business — which stand regardless of anything written here.

Links elsewhere

Where we link to other sites — a review platform, a social account, a shared price list — we do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Our content

The text, photographs, recipes and design on this site belong to Red Poppy Kitchen. Please do not republish them commercially without asking. Ask, and we will usually say yes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and the courts of New York have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version published here is the one that applies.
